Futons 24/7 is the internet trading site of The Futon Shop Limited. We are a family company, based in Plymouth, Devon, and have been working with futons and sofabeds since 1994.

Our aim is to focus on quality, service and value for money. We want our customers to get many years good service out of thier purchase and tell all their friends!! We are always open to suggestions, comments and feedback from our customers, so if you've anything to say, please call or e-mail us.

Our offices, showroom and distribution are based in the HQ Business Centre in Union Street, Plymouth, Devon. We welcome visitors to the office, so if you would like to try our products you will be welcome. Do telephone first to ensure that a member of staff will be available to assist you.

Our Futon Mattresses.

Our Futon Mattresses are sourced direct from the factory, in Pampisford, near Cambridge. All of the futon mattresses are individually hand manufactured to our specifications using combinations of cotton, bonded felt and rebound polyester or foam, depending on your requirements. The futons are covered in a choice of tough cotton drills, chenilles or faux-suede fabrics.

You can select different filling types to suit your requirements on each product page. Making you choice can be complex, so please feel free to call us for advice.

Our Futon Bases.

Our traditional pine futon bases are manufactured in Vietnam to our specification, using a tough Radiata pine to reduce splintering and 'sap' pockets, whilst the hardwood bases use eco-friendly 'rubberwood' from Malaysia. We have found, over the years, that the quality of futon bases from Malaysia and Vietnam has consistantly been of a high quality and the forrestation rules governing thier production ensure a correct turnaround of replanting. Metal bases are now sourced from China, where the latest manufacturing techniques have provided quality products at big value for money prices.

Direct Delivery or Factory Collection?

We can deliver direct to your home, or place of work, throughout mainland UK, by a parcel carrier, such as NightFreight or CityLink, or we can now offer you the choice of collecting your purchase direct from our factory in Pampisford on the edge of Cambridge, just off the M11 motorway. Transaction Security.

The Futon Shop processes all online transactions through the industry leaders, SagePay, who were previously branded as Protx. Below we have detailed thier security statements for your information and reassurance. We can also state that any information you provide to the Futon Shop Limited is used only for the purpose of your transaction, and will not be used for any marketing activities by ourselves or any third party. To put it simply we hate junk mail so wouldn't inflict it upon you!

Transaction security All transaction information passed between Futons 24/7 and Sage Pay’s systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to servers from Sage Pay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely assured that nothing you pass to Sage Pay’s servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information. Encryption and Data Storage Once on the SagePay systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign's Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data held is extremely secure and SagePay are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so. System security Sage Pay’s systems are scanned quarterly by Trustwave which are an independent Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) for the payment card brands. Sage pay is also audited annually under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) and is a fully approved Level 1 payment services provider, which is the highest level of compliance. SagePay are also active members of the PCI Security Standards Council (SSC) that defines card industry global regulation.
