Our latest development is creating a mattress using only natural materials, free from artificial chemicals and fire retardants, to provide a pure sleeping environment. This has been achieved by using an organic cotton and wool mix fabric and lambswool / woolfelt fillings. Check out the full product specifications on our Cottonsafe fabrics and futon mattresses for full details.
Well, that is a big question. Everybodys needs are different, so you may need a futon mattress to sleep on every night, or you may just want a guest bed to sit next to your study desk. If you are unsure of your needs or which models are suitable please feel free to call us.
Originally futon mattresses were manufactured using layers of cotton wadding and a loose woolfelt that came in bales, or rolls, made up in layers of around 2cm thick. These layers were laid out on top of each other to produce a futon mattress. Now we use specifically manufactured and pre-sized sheets of woolfelt bonded together by a rubberised solution, in combination with central layers of rebound polyester or foam. This creates a more durable mattress that will retain its position on t frame hekeeping your futon mattress looking fresh and feeling comfy.

Our high streets are shrinking and shops we knew and loved have gone, so before we become one giant branch of Tesco please remember to support people like us who are always prepared to offer value and customer service.
